The Red Line will be shut down from JFK/UMass to Park Street Station from May 2,  2024 until May 10, 2024. In addition, from May 2-9, evening Red Line trains will not operate between Park Street and Ashmont stations from approximately 8:30 PM through the end of service every day. MBTA shuttle buses will replace train service, and the Commuter Rail will be free between Braintree, Quincy Center, JFK/UMass, and South Station.

Beginning May 2nd and lasting approximately 2 months Brookline Ave will be closed to northbound traffic between 8 pm and 5 am. This will impact the road between David Ortiz Way and Newbury St. Normal service during the daytime hours will not be disrupted by this construction.

All departures after the 7:50 pm from BIDMC West Campus will not be able to access the Lansdowne Garage, Ipswich Garage, 1295 Boylston St, or 55 Jersey Street stops. Passengers will be let off at Brookline at Jersey Street.

Effective March 5th the Harvard School of Public Health / Landmark shuttle will be permanently suspended. The service is being integrated into the M2 shuttle which will benefit from improved frequency and reliability.

Effective Friday, May 12th, the Longwood Collective will update its policy from requiring masks be worn at all times to encouraging masks while on our shuttles. This policy update coincides with the end of the federal and Massachusetts COVID-19 Public Health Emergency at the end of the day on May 11th, and is consistent with CDC guidelines, which do not require masks to be worn on public or private buses or vans.
